Can you design a custom house for me?

Absolutely. Our staff includes professional designers with many years of experience in both residential and commercial design. If you already have an architect working on plans for you, we are happy to work with their plans, too.

Do modular homes meet code requirements in my town, city, state?

An Avalon modular building will meet or exceed all applicable State and local codes. Each of our modular buildings is engineered to meet the appropriate State Building codes and all plans are approved by the State or their third party representative prior to construction. Most Counties accept the State approval without any further requirements. Some Counties and municipalities do have additional building, installation and permit requirements. Your project manager can assist you with identifying additional local requirements and work with you to obtain approvals.

Can I build a “green” home?

All of our homes are built to meet “Energy Star Standards” and HERS requirements where mandated. There are many aspects of “building green”, and we can help you design in such a way that you can maximize your home’s energy efficiency throughout the site design, building design, and construction decisions. We are always exploring new, better ways to build.

Can you provide complete "turnkey" services?

We are licensed and insured general contractors with extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction. We can handle any / all of the work to complete your project including demolition, sitework, foundation, mechanicals and electrical, and all the finish work, like siding, flooring, countertops, decks, porches, and driveways. We can perform a complete or a limited scope, depending on your needs. Just tell us what work that you would like us to do and we are happy to provide an estimate and complete it professionally for you. We can only provide "turnkey" services in eastern MA, Cape Cod and the Islands, northern RI, and southern NH but can provide "set and delivery" services throughout the Northeastern US.
